There's a black plastic thing with a loop at the end on the passenger side of the shifter that disengages the locking mechanism. To get to it there are 3 little torque screws holding a black plastic cover. Once that's removed slide the loop onto the stainless steel pin and Bob is your uncle. Done in 15-20 mins. zm5n.
